CHRIS CAGLE and his girlfriend, Jennifer Tant, were arrested early yesterday (Wednesday) morning at their home near Nashville, charged with misdemeanor violence and assault. Chris Cagle and his girlfriend were being held in a Nashville jail Wednesday morning according to WTVF-TV in Nashville.

Cagle's latest arrest occurred around 4:40 a.m. Wednesday after he and girlfriend Jennifer Tant visited Players Inn, a bar located west of Nashville in the Bellevue community. Police reports indicate the couple got into a verbal dispute after leaving the bar and that the disagreement apparently escalated into a physical altercation once they arrived at Cagle's home.

After arriving at Cagle's house, officers determined that Cagle and Tant appeared to be intoxicated and that both showed signs of physical abuse. According to a police affidavit, Cagle had a bump on his head caused by Tant hitting him with an umbrella, and Taut had a scrape on her lip and a sore arm from Cagle hitting her with her purse. According to the television station, the couple refused to leave the house, and Tant told police she would rather go to jail than leave Cagle's home.

Cagle and Tant were arrested and taken into custody under Tennessee state domestic violence laws that considered both of them to be a primary aggressor. The law also mandates that both of them remain in jail until 4:40 p.m. Wednesday. Bond has been set at $1,500 each.

Chris was scheduled to leave Wednesday on a bus for a show in Florida scheduled for last night. (No word on the show.) This is Chris' second brush with the law after an altercation in December with the boyfriend of a female fan in Arizona. He will be back in Tucson to face charges in that incident in September.

Dierks Bentely: Real Man of Genius!

Bill and Mario look so much alike that it was a bit confusing for Amanda today. Mario is promoting his new fitness book and it is really good! And not just the pictures! His Dancing with the Stars partner and girlfriend Karina is in one chapter as well. Great cross training and dieting tips too!

How to remove a ring from your finger!

Amanda's finger swelled up with her pregnancy and she couldn't remove her ring.
We had many tips from creative listeners on how to get it off! These are what she tried:

Windex - does make it slippery and would probably work for a SLIGHTLY swollen finger.

Preparation H- Smelled BAD. Did not work. Very Messy.

WD 40- Smelled, did not work.

Floss - Did not work.

Soap - Did not work.

Butter - Did not work.

soaking in ice water - Did not work. In fact, some nurses called in and warned the ice water could actually tighten the metal of the ring on her finger!!

elevating above the heart - Did not work


Valuable lesson: Don't try all of these in one morning. By 9am that particular finger was actually twice as swollen as the others.

Final result: Listener Connie, who works for hand surgeon Dr Kahle in Mongtomery, recommended an office visit. The good doctor tightly wrapped twine around the entire finger and slowley moved the ring over the twine. Very painful, took awhile, Amanda needed a local to reduce the pain during the procedure. If you end up in the same predicament and it comes to this, go to a Doctor - Please Don't try at home!!!

He's working on a new album due out this fall. He played the first single for us this morning "His Kind Of Money, My Kind Of Love". Also, found out he got married in January and no, he didn't sing this particular song!!

Toby Keith talks with Bill and Amanda!

Toby was pretty blunt about the experiences we heard about last week in Afganistan and Iraq and says they get fired on all the time but he hates it when those stories make it to the press. We chose Lola's question "Do you recognize "repeat offenders" in the audience and does it make him laugh and creep him" His answer: He laughs, but the look alikes in the audience - slightly creepy!
